"Mom.... What's For Supper?" -- And Other Assorted Recipes

This blog is for everyone but especially for parents who don't feel they have time to make healthy meals and still have everyone at the table together. Not to mention the time it takes to search for new recipes! Think of me as your middleman. A lot of my stuff is adapted from websites and cookbooks. I'm always looking for new recipes and will give you tips to make things healthier, go further, or faster. Once I've tried a new recipe I'll post to let you know how it went!

Apple Mouths

This would have turned out better with redder apples and thinner slices....

1 apple, cored and sliced
Cream cheese
Miniature marshmallows

Spread a layer of cream cheese on one side of each apple slice. (Dry apples with a napkin first or it will be very hard to spread.) Top half the apple slices with a line of marshmallows to form teeth. Top marshmallows with the rest of the apple slices, cream cheese side down.
